Ron Newman: Children In Need 2012 - Team GB dance to "Do Your Thing"

After the Games ended I was invited to take part in a making of a video by LOCOG and the BBC that was screened as part of BBC One’s Children in Need programming on Friday 16 November 2012. Olympians and Paralympian’s also took part, with the athletes letting their hair down. It was a great treat for the audience, and to show that the athletes and the Games Makers were one happy family in a whole new light.

In a quote from one of the Assistant Producers - CHILDREN IN NEED
“I can’t tell you what a difference it made having you involved in these shoots. Not only have you shown us your incredible moves, you brought up the atmosphere at Television Centre and Westfield by about 200 percent! Even more importantly, the athletes loved having you there too. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you all and I hope you enjoyed the whole experience too.”
